Martini Trophy with SuperSports is a race Series European championship for two litre sports cars of the type that competed for the late sixties and seventies FIA European Sports Car Championship. Leading marques from the era were Chevron, GRD, Huron, Lola, Osella, Sauber and Toj. At its inception the Martini Trophy was limited to open sports cars but from 2012 and with its new association with SuperSports it is extended to include eligible closed cars such as the Chevron B8/B16, Lotus 47 and Porsche 906.
The Series takes in classic UK and European tracks and where possible is scheduled to run alongside series such as Historic Formula 2.
